An accomplished marketer and entrepreneur with an eye for emerging brands and innovative business trends, Howard leads all marketing and brand strategy for Team Marketing Systems’ clients, overseeing strategic planning and brand definition, grassroots and experiential marketing programs, public relations and social media campaigns, writing business plans and creating partnership opportunities.
Prior to starting Team Marketing Systems, Howard was one of the founders at Marrying Man Group, Inc., a unique wedding industry start-up focused on the needs of the Groom, which received the INC. Magazine “Marketing Masters Award” in 1997 for their innovative positioning strategy. The company was acquired by Modern Bride magazine in 2001 and is now part of the Condé Nast Bridal Group.
He also served as Western Regional Marketing Director for MarketSource, the leading collegiate marketing services firm, managing field marketing and event programs for Fortune 500 companies at over 350 college campuses across the western United States.
Howard began his career as a Brand Manager in the footwear business with K-Swiss, where he managed the Tennis, Outdoor and Nautical categories and learned the finer points of sports marketing, brand positioning and midsole cushioning.
